Webinar on January 11 to Offer Tips on Handling Unrooted Cuttings

American Floral Endowment’s first Grow Pro webinar of 2022 will focus on successful handling and propagation of unrooted cuttings. The presentation takes on Tuesday, Jan. 11; registration information is available here.

Huge numbers of cuttings are harvested and shipped each year, and the value of each shipment can range from hundreds to tens of thousands of dollars. Learn how to handle each shipment to maximize the number of high-quality rooted plants. In particular, the presentation will focus on how to handle delayed shipments and avoid the difficult decision of whether to propagate the cuttings and try to maintain production schedules or wait for replacement cuttings.
