Acclimation is easy, rather than taking them from the garden center to full sun on the day you purchase, move slowly from partial shade to sun.

Hold in a northern or eastern exposure for a day or two before taking them into a full sun southern or western exposure.
A day or two worth of cloudy days will also suffice.
