Meister Media Worldwide Launches the Growing Produce Podcast
Meister Media Worldwide (MMW) has launched the “Growing Produce Podcast,” a new twice-monthly audio show that expands the Growing Produce digital brand into podcasting. Produced by the editorial teams of American Fruit Grower, Western Fruit Grower, and American Vegetable Grower, the show unpacks the stories, science, and business behind every crop, with the growers, scientists, and operators shaping American fruit and vegetable production.
The “Growing Produce Podcast” is built for the commercial fruit and vegetable industry, a sector that generates billions of dollars in annual production and sustains thousands of operations across the U.S. The new show features stories of growers, researchers, retailers, and agribusiness professionals in the kind of long-form conversations that don’t always fit on the printed page.
The “Growing Produce Podcast” is hosted by American Vegetable Grower Editor Carol Miller and American Fruit Grower and Western Fruit Grower Editor Crystal Nay, with additional episodes featuring other editors from the Growing Produce brands. In the launch episode, Miller visits Bob Jones Jr. at The Chef’s Garden in Huron, OH. The farm is exploring the connections among flavor, nutrition, soil health, and growing practices, and asking whether growers can produce a better vegetable and prove that it’s better.
“American produce is a bigger, more complicated business than most people realize,” says Miller. “We’ve spent years talking to the growers, scientists, and others impacting the industry, and this podcast is a way to bring those conversations to a much wider audience in an on-the-go format.”
Upcoming episodes include American Vegetable Grower‘s 2026 Grower Achievement Award winner, the issues reshaping vegetable production, a citrus-industry conversation on grower decision-making, a labor-practices story at a specialty-crop operation, a climate adaptation discussion with a leading researcher, and a blueberry-breeding story tied to a new retail launch.
“Agriculture has great conversations everywhere – in the field, in the lab, at shows, wherever the industry is present,” says Nay. “We’re keeping those conversations going, and we’re inviting listeners to join us. Farming decisions aren’t made in a vacuum, and who doesn’t love a good ag chat?”
The “Growing Produce Podcast” launched on Oct. 6, 2026, with new episodes released twice a month. Listeners can subscribe on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Amazon Music, and all major podcast platforms, or stream episodes directly at GrowingProduce.com.
