Changes To Chrysanthemum Imports

An amendment to USDA’s regulations on importing nursery stock would reduce the post-entry quarantine growing period for chrysanthemums from six months to two months, if the producer has implemented a system to prevent the plants from being infected with chrysanthemum white rust.

In addition to chrysanthemum species, this would include Leucanthemella serotina and Nipponanthemum nipponicum. USDA is considering public comments through October 9.
