The Produce Marketing Association (PMA) wants to help both new and experienced greenhouse vegetable growers improve their food safety education. The organization recently launched FreshEd Academy, an educational platform for the produce and floral industries, created to offer innovative and affordable advice that will help you drive your business forward.

As part of the launch of FreshEdAcademy, PMA has partnered with Intertek Alchemy, an industry leader in produce safety eLearning solutions, to create PMA’s first online certification course, “The Essentials of Produce Safety,” a training program uniquely designed for produce industry mid-level professionals. The course is entirely online and an provides in-depth training that covers the key challenges and best practices in produce safety taught by PMA’s Dr. Robert Whitaker and Afreen Malik.
