The owners of Ivy Farm Nursery, a long-established operation on Virginia’s Eastern Shore, are transitioning into other business ventures and have elected to fully liquidate the company’s nursery, equipment, greenhouses, and plant inventory.
The auction will be a complete liquidation (no tax, final disposition of business assets) and will take place in two parts:
- A real estate auction on Monday, Dec. 15 at 3:07 PM
- An equipment, live plant inventory, and greenhouse auction on Tuesday, Dec. 16 at 10:07 AM
The auction will include 2,000+ lots (inventory still growing) including greenhouse structures, live inventory, propagation stock, tractors, implements, irrigation, rolling benches, nursery automation, and capital equipment
The sale includes live plant inventory, production infrastructure, working nursery equipment, and acreage-scale systems — representing an entire operational footprint ready for redistribution into the market. It may be one of the larger full nursery liquidations happening on the East Coast this year, according to Rasmus Auctions.
