Learning Opportunity: Controlled Environment Horticulture in the Lone Star State
The 5th annual Texas A&M Controlled Environment Conference is designed for new and prospective growers interested in specialty crop production under a controlled environment, and for experienced growers who want to learn more about the latest research by local and national experts in the field.
This year’s conference takes place Dec. 7-8, 2023, and will be held at the state-of-the-art Texas A&M AgriLife Research and Extension Center in Dallas, TX. The conference will be presented in a hybrid format, with in-person and virtual participation accepted.
The agenda includes a range of topics, including:
- Light and temperature control strategies
- Labor requirements
- Advanced plant sensing technology
- Lettuce cultivar evaluation
- Automation and artificial intelligence
The second day of the conference features a tour of Eden Green Technologies.
