Profile Products Brings on Several New Team Members

Profile Products welcomes Mark Wilson, Harman Gilbert, and Matt Garrett to the horticulture team.

Wilson is Profile Horticulture’s new Director of Sales. A University of Florida graduate with more than 35 years in horticulture and commercial agriculture, he will develop strategy and structure for sales integration and product introduction, and will also build talent and identify emerging markets. He previously held positions at Ball Seed Company, Fluence Bioengineering, and Syngenta Flowers.

Gilbert is Profile’s new Technical Services Manager. A graduate of the University of Florida, Gilbert has held various roles in the horticulture industry, including grower, sales representative, product manager, technical manager, and national sales manager. Before joining the Profile team, he worked at Florikan, which is now a Profile Horticulture company, as well as Phormium and BioBest.

Garrett is Profile Horticulture’s new Product Manager. With eight years of experience at Corteva Agriscience, Garrett held various marketing roles and led the company’s specialty crop business managing nematicides, insecticides, fungicides, and herbicides. Prior to Corteva, Garrett worked at Cargill and helped launch a startup company and expand it to an international presence. Garrett earned a Master of Business Administration degree from Texas A&M University.

Carolyn Begg, Eason

“We are thrilled to bring Mark, Harman, and Matt’s diverse experiences to the Profile team,” says Wes Martin, Profile’s Vice President of Horticulture/Lawn and Garden. “Harman’s background with Florikan and Matt and Mark’s extensive agriscience experience will help us continue to provide the best customer support and product recommendations to our horticulture customers.”

Eason Adds to Its Sales Team

Eason Horticultural Resources is pleased to announce the addition of Carolyn Begg to its national sales team. Begg has spent the last two decades servicing landscapers, wholesalers, and garden centers in Canada and the U.S. Having a keen focus on quality and service, as well as a commitment to providing her customers with the best plant material to meet their needs, she is a natural fit for the transition to EHR. Begg’s sales success in Ontario, Canada, and Massachusetts, as well as with select accounts in the U.S., will make her a valuable asset to the team.

Begg’s career is also her passion, an avid horticulturist who has always loved plants and the pure beauty they offer. When not pointing out ginkgo to her kids as she drives them to their sporting events, she can be found walking her dog or occasionally at the barn riding horses.
