Greenhouse Grower has entered the world of podcasts with the launch of our new “Greenhouse Grower to Grower” series. In the podcast, which will be delivered every other week, we talk to growers from across the controlled-environment industry about market trends, innovation, their biggest challenges and opportunities, and more.

In the inaugural episode of the “Greenhouse Grower to Grower” podcast, Senior Editor Brian Sparks talks to Metrolina Greenhouses’ Art Van Wingerden about sustainability, how the company invests in its technology and its team, and what he’s excited about for the future. Metrolina is a multi-generational family business that recently celebrated its 50th anniversary. Art works with almost 60 contract growers from across the country, and manages growing operations for Metrolina.
