What to Expect at the Biocontrols USA West Conference

The Biocontrols USA West 2019 Conference and Expo takes place this week in Portland, OR. There’s still time to register for the event, which you can do either here or on-site.

For those who are planning to attend the event or are considering it, here’s a quick look at what you can expect.

• Pre-Conference Tour. The Pacific Northwest is one of the nation’s leading regions supporting biological control and sustainable production methods. Join the Biocontrols Field Tour to see firsthand how these tools and techniques are being put to use in specialty crop production by some of the region’s leading growers and researchers.
• A Greenhouse Ornamentals educational track that will feature presentations on Creating a Biological Program for Pest Magnet Crops, IPM of Poinsettia Pests, and Biopesticide Efficacy on Greenhouse Ornamental Diseases.
