Learning Opportunity: Greenhouse Environmental Control for Crop Production

“Introduction to Greenhouse Environmental Control for Crop Production”, which takes place Jan. 28-March 4, 2024, is a 13-week certificate course designed for greenhouse growers and offered by ADVANCEA, a collaborative research and Extension program funded by the USDA NIFA Specialty Crop Research Initiative is to assist growers in creating the most ideal crop-growing environment using real-time data and AI-based climate optimization processes.

The course will provide students with foundational information about the essentials of greenhouse environment control for a variety of commonly grown crops. It will offer a strong understanding of greenhouse environment control to those who are already employed in the industry, or those enrolled in an academic program with desire to learn about environmental controls in greenhouse systems.
