Costa Farms kicked off the first weekend of spring in a big way with 30 trucks full of Sun Parasol mandevillas heading out to retailers with much fanfare for a special "grower day" event for the public. The promotion was not specific to a single retailer but several that Costa serves, including Lowe's and Walmart. The trucks departed from the farm at the same time, creating quite a branding presence on the roads and highways. A marching band and hot air balloons created a festive atmosphere.
