Bilingual Greenhouse Production Workshop
Purdue Extension will have a Greenhouse Production and Diagnostic Workshop, in English and Spanish, at Heartland Growers from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Monday, March 17.
Purdue Extension will have a Greenhouse Production and Diagnostic Workshop, in English and Spanish, at Heartland Growers from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Monday, March 17.
University Ornamentals Extension Specialists Roberto Lopez (floriculture), Mike Mickelbart (nursery management) and Janna Beckerman (plant pathology) will be on hand to answer greenhouse and nursery questions.
Lopez kicks off the workshop at 10 a.m. with a two-hour session in English on environmental management and plant growth regulators. Lopez and Beckerman then lead a 90-minute session after lunch, in English, on diagnosing problems in the greenhouse. They’ll lead the same session in Spanish later in the afternoon.
Mickelbart will be on hand, as well.

Members of the Indiana Flower Grower Association who will stay for the entire workshop can sign up for a boxed lunch. All others interested in a boxed lunch can send $10 to Goodale.
