Secure More Carts Safely While Maximizing Trailer Space Efficiency

Ancra Cargo’s Cart Securement Systems are engineered to maximize usable trailer space while improving safety, organization, and operational efficiency. One system option utilizes narrow-profile shoring beams specifically designed to optimize beam spacing and maximize the number of carts that can be loaded into a trailer. Unlike traditional methods that rely on straps, operators can quickly secure a full set of carts simply by lowering the beam from its stored ceiling position into place. The system helps prevent carts from accidentally releasing and rolling out of the rear door when opened, creating a safer unloading environment for operators and warehouse personnel.

The shoring beam system is designed so beams remain with the trailer and store neatly at the ceiling when not in use, helping reduce clutter and improve loading efficiency. Beams are also easy to replace when needed, minimizing downtime and simplifying maintenance. Systems can additionally be custom designed to accommodate specific cart dimensions and operational requirements. Ancra’s Beam Release Tool (P/N: 49445-12) allows operators to easily reposition and move beams as needed during loading and unloading operations.

For operations requiring individual cart securement, Ancra Cargo also offers an E-track mounted bracket system designed to maximize trailer space while securely locking carts into position. The kit is designed to secure one cart along the curb-side wall and one along the road-side wall, while accommodating specific cart geometries and applications. Each cart is individually secured using brackets mounted to horizontal E-track that engage the vertical tubes of the cart itself. A rotating rear lock bar keeps the cart securely locked in place during transport, while an adjustable front bracket allows the system to accommodate a variety of cart sizes.
Like the shoring beam solution, the E-track mounted bracket system replaces traditional straps and helps prevent accidental cart release during unloading operations. The result is a safer, cleaner, and more efficient cargo securement solution designed to help fleets improve trailer utilization, reduce cargo movement, and streamline day-to-day operations.
