Introducing UNIQ, the New Face of Succulents Unlimited
Succulents Unlimited has announced its transition to the UNIQ brand, marking the next chapter in the company’s evolution and reflecting its continued growth beyond succulents into a broader range of plant categories.
Originally founded in 2018 as a specialist in premium succulent cuttings, the company has expanded into tropical foliage, indoor flowering plants, ornamentals, and innovative breeding programs. The new UNIQ brand reflects this broader portfolio while continuing to deliver the same quality, service, and reliability that growers have come to expect.
“UNIQ reflects who we’ve become as a company,” says Edward Skoko, North American Sales Manager. “Our goal has always been to bring growers unique genetics and innovative plant programs that help them stand out in the marketplace. As our product portfolio expanded well beyond succulents, it became clear that our brand name should evolve as well.”
Today, UNIQ partners with many of the world’s leading plant breeders to bring exclusive and innovative genetics to commercial greenhouse growers worldwide. Strategic partnerships include:
- Amigo Plants
- Concept Plants
- Garden Solutions
- Genesis U.K.
- Hopmans
- Slijkerman
- Tesselaar
These partnerships give growers access to a diverse portfolio of unique genetics across multiple plant categories and include market-leading brands and breeding programs, such as Chick Charms®, Aloe Medivera®, the Rivulet® Series, Colorockz®, and a wide range of indoor potted and ornamental genetics, providing growers with exclusive products that combine performance with consumer appeal.
Complementing these exclusive partnerships are UNIQ’s own breeding and product development programs, including the EPIC™ Echeveria Series, the WHEELS™ Aeonium Series, the COSMIC™ Aloe Series, and many more introductions currently under development. Together, these programs reinforce UNIQ’s commitment to bringing growers unique, high-performing varieties selected for appearance, durability, and production performance.
With breeding programs in the Netherlands and Kenya, along with a global network of breeding partners, UNIQ continues to invest in innovation while supplying premium unrooted cuttings to commercial greenhouse growers worldwide. The majority of production is sourced from the company’s MPS-A certified farm in Kenya, supporting more than 1,000 employees while maintaining the highest standards of quality and sustainable production.
