'Martha' Showcases Foreign Lily Hybrids

Floral designer Dorien van den Berg appeared on “The Martha Stewart Show” last Thursday in two segments featuring lilies. In the first segment, van den Berg walks Martha Stewart through some of the beautiful lily hybrids consumers, growers and industry professionals will see at Longwood Gardens’ East Conservatory beginning this Friday.

Van den Berg also appears in a second segment with Stewart in which she assembles romantic and country-style lily arrangements.

Lilytopia was put together to show the American public what it’s missing in lilies. The event was inspired by the world-famous lily show at Holland’s Keukenhof, and Lilytopia’s organizers anticipate the more than 10,000 lily stem showcase generating interest from consumers and growers alike.
