Paul Ecke de Guatemala Wins National Awards

Paul Ecke de Guatemala, a subsidiary of Ecke Ranch, earned three awards at the National Export Awards event the Guatemalan Exporters Association (AGEXPORT) hosted in Guatemala City last week.

Paul Ecke de Guatemala was awarded first place in the National Productivity category, and it earned third-place honors in the Exporter of the Year for Agriculture and Exporter of the Year Overall categories. The three honors collectively are the third time in 12 years Paul Ecke de Guatemala has been recognized at the event. The last time it was organized was 2005 when it was named Exporter of the Year for Agriculture. Paul Ecke de Guatemala also earned Exporter of the Year honors in 1999.

“I am really pleased by these awards,” says Byron Calderon, general manager. “I am so pleased by our recognition, particulalry in the area of productivity. Our focus is to consistently produce exceptional quality cuttings at the lowest possible price. We understand the pressures of our marketplace, and need to continually provide value to our customers.”

Paul Ecke III is excited about the recognition, as well.
