The Best Plants From Proven Winners Carleton’s Display Gardens
One of the featured sites on the Michigan Garden Plant Tour, which concludes this week, is the Proven Winners Carleton (formerly Four Star Greenhouses) Signature Display Garden. The 1-acre garden features an impressive collection of award-winning plants that showcase the Proven Winners® program. The landscape beds, combination containers, hanging baskets, and upright planters feature exciting new introductions for 2027 alongside long-time Proven Winners favorites. Attendees can see firsthand how these varieties perform across a range of growing conditions and garden settings, while providing inspiration for landscapes, container programs, and retail displays alike.
