'Luscious Citrus Blend' Takes Les Exceptionnelles' Top Spot

‘Luscious Citrus Blend’ lantana from Proven Winners topped Les Exceptionelles for 2009, a list of the top 10 bedding plants selected by Quebec Horticultural Specialists. Citrus Blend stood out after a season of trials, which are designed to entice and encourage consumers to try the new plants after seeing their garden performance.

Other plants that stood out were:

– Perennial grass ‘Fireworks’ from Creek Hill
–Coleus ‘Henna’ from Ball Flora Plant
–Celosia ‘Chinatown’ from Tezier
–Rudbeckia ‘Tiger Eye Gold’ from Goldsmith
–Bracteantha ‘Strawburst Yellow’ from Syngenta
–Impatiens ‘Celebrette Icy blue’ from Ball Flora Plant
–Salvia ‘Cathedral Deep Blue’ from Bodger
