ProGreen EXPO 2027 to Debut a Cut Flowers Courtyard
For the first time, ProGreen EXPO will dedicate show floor space to the cut flower community, connecting flower growers, breeders, suppliers, and designers with more than 5,000 green industry professionals.
The Cut Flower Courtyard will debut Jan. 27–28, 2027, at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver, featuring exhibitors, educational sessions, and opportunities to explore new products and business connections.
“Cut flowers are part of the green industry, and there is a natural connection that hasn’t always been made,” says Giovanna Romero, Ball Seed Vegetative Annual Sales Specialist, Colorado Nursery & Greenhouse Association (CNGA) Board President, and a member of the Courtyard organizing team. “We want to introduce cut flowers to people who may not be thinking about them yet and create opportunities for the two communities to learn from one another.”
ProGreen EXPO attracts growers, garden centers, greenhouse operators, landscape professionals, designers, retailers, and other plant-focused businesses. Organizers see particular potential for garden centers and greenhouse growers to incorporate cut flowers into existing operations, while cut flower businesses gain access to new customers and markets.
“The idea isn’t to create another flower show inside a trade show,” says Meg Amendola of the CNGA, which is helping organize the Courtyard. “It’s about bringing the cut flower community together with people who are already growing plants, selling plants, working with customers, and showing them where the possibilities overlap.”
Education and Industry Connections
Educational sessions on Jan. 27–28 will cover production research, growing practices, floral design, and business opportunities. Speakers include Dr. Melanie Stock of Utah State University, Dr. John Dole of North Carolina State University, Gina Schley of SHEGROWS, and independent floral professional Jill Beckman. Additional speakers and session details will be announced as the program develops.
The American Floral Alliance and other industry organizations will also have space in the Courtyard to connect attendees with resources and opportunities across the floral industry.
Visit or Exhibit
The Cut Flower Courtyard is included with ProGreen EXPO floor admission, alongside access to the full trade show floor.
Organizers invite cut flower growers, flower farms, breeders, seed companies, production suppliers, and providers of tools, packaging, and post-harvest supplies to exhibit. Current exhibitors include Ball Seed, American Takii, and Raker-Roberta’s Young Plants. Additional exhibitor information can be found here.
The team also welcomes partners interested in contributing flowers, materials, expertise, or sponsorship.
“If people leave saying, ‘I never realized this could be part of my business,’ I think we have succeeded,” says Romero. “And if someone comes back the next year and says, ‘We tried it, and it worked,’ then we have really accomplished what we set out to do.”
