If 2020 was the year of the COVID-19 pandemic and 2021 was the year of the supply chain, perhaps 2022 can be considered the year of uncertainty. The long-term effects of a global health crisis and recovery made it difficult to know whether the consumers gained in 2020 would stick around, how inflation might affect the prices we pay and earn, and whether we’d be able to plan ahead with a clear understanding of whether we’d have the materials we need.
