What You Can Expect to See at Cultivate’21

Cultivate'21It feels strange to be saying it, but Cultivate’21 is back this weekend as an in-person event! While attendance is likely to be down a bit due to lingering international travel restrictions, as well as some justified reservations about domestic travel, we’ve already heard from many of you who will be making the trip to Columbus, OH. From what I’ve gathered, we share a sense of both caution and excitement (and perhaps uncertainty about whether we should shake hands, fist bump, or wave when we meet).

If you’re going to Cultivate, here are just a few things you can expect:

  • The return of top-notch educational presentations, running the gamut from labor-saving automation tips to advice on hiring and retaining talented employees. Click here for a detailed guide to all the educational content that will be available.
  • The AmericanHort Hemp Conference. This two-day conference, held prior to the opening of Cultivate’21, features educational programming, products, and services to help you become a better hemp grower.
  • The New Varieties Showcase and New Product Zone, offering a close-up look at the latest innovations from plant breeders and other industry suppliers.
  • Greenhouse Grower’s Medal of Excellence event on Monday evening, which will include a wide range of award presentations recognizing excellence in varieties, technology, growing, and more (click here to check out past Medal of Excellence winners). Note that the event takes place in a new location this year, Battelle Grand C. Doors open at 5:00 p.m.
  • The massive trade show floor (click here for a list of exhibitors)

AmericanHort is also making it easier for industry members to keep up with education even if they are not able to attend Cultivate’21 in person. The new On-Demand online Education Pass for Cultivate’21 will offer access to select educational sessions.
