BASF Improves Packing For Herbicide, Fungicide

To give industry professionals greater value and convenience when controlling diseases and weeds, BASF Professional Turf & Ornamentals is making packaging larger on two key products: Pendulum AquaCap herbicide and Insignia fungicide.

Pendulum AquaCap is available for a limited time in a 110-gallon drum, and Insignia is now available in a 36-pound drum.

The Pendulum AquaCap 110-gallon drum is only available during the BASF early-order program dates, which began October 1 and end December 11. The 36-pound Insignia drum can be purchased with greater cost savings during the BASF early-order program, and the new size will be offered year-round.

“To achieve even greater success with BASF, our customers asked us to provide more flexible packaging options on these products and we answered,” says Bob York, marketing manager for BASF. “Both package sizes are convenient, more economical and result in less impact on the environment.”

Pendulum AquaCap herbicide offers pre-emergent weed control of more than 40 broadleaf and grassy weeds and is labeled for use on field and container nurseries. Insignia fungicide is labeled for use on commercial greenhouses, outdoor container- or field-grown nurseries and other similarly maintained areas.
