Growing Media in Focus at 2021 Michigan Greenhouse Growers Expo

The 2021 Michigan Greenhouse Growers Expo, which takes place Dec. 7-9 in Grand Rapids, MI, continues to expand each year in its floriculture education program.

This year, there are a number of sessions focused on how to get the most out of your growing media. North Carolina State University’s Brian Jackson will offer two presentations: Guidance on Selecting Substrates and Substrate Suppliers, and Next Generation Substrates: Peat-Reduced and Peat-Free Options. In addition, Michigan State University’s Christina Curell and Paul gross will offer their thoughts on Starting Right from the Roots Up: Soil Health Basics and Tips.
