American Floral Endowment‘s upcoming webinar, scheduled for Aug. 25, 2026, as part of its ongoing Grow Pro series, will cover major technology advances in agriculture and how they can be applied to the cut flower industry, including image analysis for phytosanitary decision-making and artificial intelligence applications.

The featured speaker for “Integrating AI and Technology in Cut Flower Production” is Dr. John Dole of North Carolina State University. His research program focuses on the production and postharvest physiology of floriculture crops, particularly regarding working with cut flowers, poinsettias, and vegetatively propagated cuttings.
