BFG Supply Acquires Greenhouse Cloth and Film Supplier Green-tek

BFG Supply, a leading technology-enabled distributor to the green industry, has acquired Green-tek, a leading provider and manufacturer of greenhouse components. The acquisition of Green-tek significantly expands BFG’s greenhouse offerings and product selection that will further improve service levels to customers in the horticulture market. The combined company operates 20 warehouses across the US and Canada totaling more than 1.3 million square feet.
Headquartered in Burton, OH, BFG was founded in 1972 and is celebrating its 50th year of operation in 2022. BFG distributes a full line of products across complementary green industry segments including professional horticulture, lawn and garden, hydroponic, and controlled-environment agriculture (CEA). With more than 20,000 SKUs in stock, the comprehensive product offering provides a differentiated, one-stop solution to customers.
Green-tek, headquartered in Clinton, WI, was founded in 1987 and has served customers for nearly 35 years. The company has solutions for every greenhouse need including shade cloth, films, polycarbonate, and other specialty coverings. Green-tek ships to customers across the U.S. from warehouses in Clinton, Wi, Dinuba, CA, and Baldwin, GA totaling more than 150,000 square feet.
