Shenandoah Growers Adds New Plant Handling System to its Biofarm

Shenandoah System from Bosman Van ZaalShenandoah Growers Inc., a company specializing in commercially advanced indoor herb and leafy greens production, is working with Netherlands-based Bosman Van Zaal on the installation of a new cultivation and plant handling system for its 100,000-square-foot indoor biofarm in Anderson, SC. The farm, which is expected to be operational by the second quarter of 2022, will grow USDA-certified organic herbs and leafy greens. The business is expected to create 50 jobs.

Bosman Van Zaal is a leading supplier of logistics cultivation systems worldwide. Labor productivity, space utilization, tracking and tracing, and cost control are central to this.
