RISE (Responsible Industry for a Sound Environment) held its annual Industry Issues Breakfast at Cultivate’24, AmericanHort’s annual event in Columbus, OH.

Convening more than 60 crop protection industry professionals, RISE President Megan Provost set the tone, urging all present to actively engage in advocacy at every level of government.

“Advocacy is the foundation of our mission at RISE. By working hand in hand with state and federal partners, we’re driving crucial legislative changes that benefit our industry,” Provost said. “Your voices, as experts in the green industry, are essential in educating policymakers and decision makers about the benefits and rigorous regulation of pesticides.”

Two prominent horticulture leaders and AmericanHort members joined Provost to share their frontline experiences as industry advocates, echoing RISE’s call to action.
