Obituary: John Henry’s Louis Brand

Louis Brand, the well-loved former chairman of the John Henry Co. in Lansing, Mich., died April 18 at age 84 in Naples, Fla., from pancreatic cancer. He started his career with John Henry in 1948 as the company’s first art director, became president in 1972 and retired as chairman in 2005.
