Eason Horticultural Resources Adds to its Growing Sales Force

National plant industry broker and consultant Eason Horticultural Resources is adding three new members to its sales team: Steve Maddox, Tom Eaton, and Gary Eaton.

The Ft. Wright, KY-based company, which was founded in 1993, describes its latest hires in the following bios:

Steve Maddox

Steve Maddox

Steve Maddox will be calling on customers in New York and western New England. Steve also is employed as the Director of Partnership Development for Bower & Branch and has extensive experience working with independent garden centers. He was previously a sales person with the Henry F. Michell Company. He brings experience in selling a broad range of product types, including nursery, tropicals, perennials, and liners and plugs of annuals. Steve served as the President of the Ohio Nursery and Landscape Association in 2016.


Tom Eaton

Tom Eaton

Tom Eaton is currently representing Bower & Branch and selling nursery products for Eaton Farms to independent garden centers and nurseries in New England. Tom brings a strong level of enthusiasm for the independents and has been very successful building relationships with some of the best garden centers and nurseries in his market. He will continue to represent Bower & Branch to independent garden centers along with his responsibilities with Eason Horticultural Resources.


Gary Eaton

Gary Eaton

Gary Eaton also is currently representing Eaton Farms and Bower & Branch. Like his brother Tom, Gary sells almost exclusively to independent garden centers and nurseries, calling on customers in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, New Jersey, and Tennessee. Gary’s customer base will also benefit from the ability to buy flowering tropicals from Eason Horticultural Resource’s suppliers in Florida, as well as being able to broaden their plant palette with Oregon-grown nursery products.
