GLASE Summit 2023 to Focus on Greenhouse Energy Resilience

Efficient energy use in the greenhouse is a major concern for almost any grower today. So it’s fitting that the theme of this year’s annual GLASE summit is “Greenhouse Energy Resilience: greenhouse efficiency and profitability in a world of increasing energy prices.”

The summit, which takes place Oct. 25 at the Aleksander Estate Winery in Leamington, ON, Canada, will consist of presentations by researchers, academics, and industry professionals, and will take a look at the controlled-environment agriculture industry in Ontario, Canada. It is presented by GLASE, the Greenhouse Lighting and Systems Engineering Consortium, which was established in 2017 by Cornell University and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and merges leading-edge academic research with the marketplace expertise of industry practitioners.
