Griffin Greenhouse to Host New Hemp Grower Workshops

Tewksbury, MA-based Griffin Greenhouse Supplies announced new educational hemp workshops in conjunction with its upcoming Grower & Retailer Expos in Massachusetts and Pennsylvania. According to the company, grower participants will learn about infrastructure needs, crop nutrition, and crop protection.

The Massachusetts workshop is scheduled for August 21 at the DCU Center in Worcester. The Pennsylvania workshop is slated for September 24 at the Lancaster Marriott at Penn Square. Each is a half-day program.

“These latest additions to our popular hemp workshops build on our previous highly successful events,” says Tami Van Gaal, Division Leader for Controlled-Environment Agriculture at Griffin. “We carefully crafted these workshops to meet the needs of an evolving industry and the grower community thinking about adding hemp as a seasonal crop or those considering a full conversion.”

The workshops will begin at 11:30 a.m. with a catered lunch, followed by the educational sessions.
