Across the globe, the report states, several factors result in reduced yield, shortened shelflife, keeping quality, and nutrient profile in tomatoes.

“Various compounds are used to overcome these challenges. Biostimulants are gaining interest as a way to ensure nutrient efficiency, stimulate plant growth, and, thereby, improving yield and productivity. Many research studies have established the potential of biostimulants in improving crop yield. Apart from various research institutes, stakeholders have established a positive effect on the use of bio-stimulants to improve crop yield.”
