New Trimming and Spraying Options for the Cannabis Industry

Greenhouse cannabis growers have access to new equipment thanks to two recent product introductions. The first comes from GreenBroz Inc., an innovator of postharvest processing technology for the cannabis industry, which released its new Model G Precision Grinder + Destemmer. Featuring a first-of-its-kind continuous throughput system, the Model G is the first combination destemmer and grinder on the market.
Removing stems from milled flower efficiently, while maintaining product quality and controlling particle size, have been substantial obstacles for operators to overcome.

The R&D team’s key innovation is the Model G’s patent-pending triangular blade assembly. When combined with the low torque, low-RPM motor it allows for a high degree of control over particle size while its gentle actuation generates less heat, maintaining the integrity of high-value terpenes and trichomes, maximizing THC content per pound.
“The Model G was designed to gently deconstruct the bud to yield the uniform grind size of your choice,” says GreenBroz Engineer Dylan Cruz. The Model G comes with interchangeable screens, giving growers control and flexibility. The unit can be completely customized by adding a stainless-steel perforated metal sheet of any size.

ONTarget Cube Sprayer
New Electrostatic Sprayer
OnTarget Spray Systems recently launched its newest efficiency sprayer for cannabis greenhouses, hoop houses, and vertical grows: The Cube.
“The Cube drastically eliminates runoff, minimizes drift, reduces liability, and saves on materials,” says OnTarget’s Founder & President Willie Hartman. “In a time of drought, labor shortages, and expensive materials, OnTarget’s mission is to save farmers while saving the planet.”
Hartman and his team of engineers developed a unit that runs on a cordless, 1000-watt, lithium-ion battery. Paired with the option of easy-glide or all-terrain tires, The Cube allows for ultimate maneuverability in greenhouses.
Water droplets receive a positive charge before exiting the misting wand and landing on the grounded plant. The grower can easily point the wand in the general direction of the crop, automatically giving plants a 360-degree coating, and distributing nutrients and protection.
