What You Can Expect to See at the 2023 Northeast Greenhouse Conference

Northeast Greenhouse Conference imageThe Northeast Greenhouse Conference and Expo (NEGC), which takes place Nov. 8-9 in Manchester, NH, offers a unique opportunity to gather new information, insights, products, and personal connections that will help your greenhouse business grow and look towards the future. NEGC attendees reflect many sectors: Growers, farmers, nurseries, allied suppliers, educators, retailers, and students.

The biennial Northeast Greenhouse Conference & Expo is co-sponsored by New England Floriculture, Inc., a group of grower representatives from the Northeast, augmented by University and Cooperative Extension staff in each state who specialize in greenhouse crops and management. Highlights of the event include:

  • Educational Sessions: Attend stimulating educational workshops on a wide range of topics by industry experts; acquire knowledge and gain valuable insight. Sixteen sessions being offered at NEGC 2023 have been approved for Pesticide Applicator Recertification Credit in New York and New England.
  • Tradeshow: Visit with innovative exhibitors during dedicated tradeshow time to gather information on products and services that will benefit your business.
  • Networking: Share ideas, build relationships, and make important face to-face connections with others in the floriculture industry.
  • Spanish Language Sessions: On Wednesday, Nov. 8, there will be sessions conducted exclusively in Spanish.
  • High School And FFA Students Attend for Free on Thurs. 11/9: Young people are invited to make connections with and learn more about the greenhouse industry. Pre-registration required.
  • Welcome Reception: The Wednesday (11/8) Welcome Reception starts at 5:00 p.m. with leaders in the industry engaging in a lively panel discussion on the topic “What’s New in Floriculture Breeding & Genetics” where you can gain insights and network with growers, suppliers, and educators. It is sponsored by Ball Seed Company.
