The coronavirus continues to disrupt agriculture markets across the U.S. and around the world, and the effects will likely be felt for many months to come.

The editors of CropLife® magazine, published by Meister Media Worldwide (which also publishes Greenhouse Grower®), have compiled an overview highlighting five ways coronavirus is affecting all of agriculture. One thing to note is that looking into the third and fourth quarter of 2020, there are questions about how COVID-19 will affect labor availability, consumer demand for produce, trade deals, and supply chains for crop inputs, potentially affecting late-season applications of non-commodity pesticides. Specialty fungicides specifically could see some price inflation.
