McGehee_Hydroponic_LettuceCora McGehee, a graduate student and Ph.D. candidate at the University of Connecticut studying root rot in crops produced in hydroponic systems, is working on a project designed to understand commercial growers’ issues and concerns regarding root health.

“I would like to get input on practices and limitations regarding root rot, reusing nutrient solutions, and disinfectants,” says McGehee, who is studying under the University of Connecticut’s Rosa Raudales, Ph.D.
