A Day Of Propagation Education
Interested in getting better results from your plugs and liners? Connecticut Greenhouse Growers Association is hosting a day of Propagation Education on Sept. 25 at the Connecticut Agricultural Experiment Station in New Haven, Conn.
The well-rounded program includes: John Bartok from the University of Connecticut on using technology to improve quality; plant pathologist Sharon Douglas of the Connecticut Agricultural Experiment Station on recognizing and managing common diseases; national plug expert Dr. Roger Styer; and retired Purdue University professor P. Allen Hammer of Dummen USA on propagating from cuttings. The day will end with Styer moderating a panel of regional growers who share propagation advice.
