Top 100 Ornamental Grower Earns New Sustainability Certification

Botany Lane Greenhouses, which was #77 on Greenhouse Grower’s 2020 Top 100 Growers list with 835,000 square feet of environmentally controlled ornamentals production, recently earned the Veriflora Sustainably Grown label.

Veriflora Sustainably Grown is a certification program for sustainable horticulture and floriculture. Botany Lane earned the label by meeting the highest levels of performance under three internally recognized pillars of sustainability: environmental stewardship, social responsibility, and economic stability.

Botany Lane successfully exhibited healthy, safe, and fair working conditions, protection of soil and water resources, responsible agrochemical use, energy efficiency, climate impact reduction, ecosystem protection, product quality, and community engagement.
