University of Florida Offering Online Weed Management Course in SeptemberThe University of Florida (UF) Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences is offering a Weed Management Greenhouse Training Online course this September. The intermediate course is designed for growers with some experience and training in weed management. It is offered in English and Spanish and offers tips on all aspects of weed management in nurseries and greenhouses, including weed identification, developing herbicide programs, and the latest non-chemical methods of weed control.

The course runs for four weeks, from September 25 to October 20, 2017, and includes a personalized certificate of completion. Each week, there will be two streaming video lessons, readings, and assignments (about three to four hours total commitment per week), which can be accessed at any time of day. Bilingual Ph.D. instructors can be accessed via discussion features.
