Ways Utility Companies Are Incentivizing Greenhouse LED Installation

Horticultural LEDs are now 50% more efficient than traditional high-pressure sodium technology. However, implementation costs are still the main barrier for the adoption of energy-efficient lighting systems in greenhouses and indoor farms.

To help growers overcome these barriers, utility companies have developed agricultural programs to incentivize the implementation of energy-efficient LED lighting systems and controls. During a GLASE online round table taking place on March 24, hear from three industry experts about available opportunities for financial incentives and rebate programs. Attendees will also learn about the benefits provided to growers who want to install or upgrade their lighting systems.
