Webinar to Cover Effects of Carbon Dioxide Enrichment in the Greenhouse
Carbon dioxide enrichment has long been known as a tool to boost greenhouse crop yield, but the benefits depend on the crop and production environment, especially light.
On Oct. 25 at 12:00 EST, Cornell University researchers Neil Mattson and Jonathan Allred will present a webinar on strawberry and tomato responses to light and CO2 control. The webinar will cover:
- The basics of greenhouse CO2 enrichment.
- Current research underway to determine response of tomatoes and strawberries on light and CO2.
- Experimental results from two years of studies on day-neutral strawberry cultivar selection and response to HPS and LED supplemental lighting.
Registration for the webinar, which is being presented by the GLASE Consortium, is now open.
